Dear Colleagues and Friends,It is with deep satisfaction and a renewed sense of mission that I welcome you to the 19th Pediatric Oncology Congress in São Paulo. This event not only reflects years of dedication and tireless efforts to ensure that every child and adolescent with cancer has access to the best chance of a cure, but also reaffirms our commitment to fighting for equity in oncology treatment in our country.
With the theme "Equity in Pediatric Oncology Treatment: Ensuring Universal Access to Technologies and Therapeutic Advances to Increase Chances of Cure", we seek to provoke meaningful and transformative discussions. My work, throughout my professional life, has been driven by the belief that, together, we can and must do more for children, especially through partnerships with the third sector that have been fundamental in ensuring access to treatment for all.
São Paulo, known for its vibrant and welcoming energy, welcomes us to this congress, which will be a true milestone in our journey of fighting for equity. Here, we have gathered great national and international experts, whose knowledge will undoubtedly enlighten and strengthen our daily practice.
